Context

As part of my role at the Deloitte Greenhouse, I developed deep expertise in emerging technology trends and their practical business applications — advising Fortune 100 executives on how to leverage AI, IoT, AR/VR, and robotics to drive competitive advantage.

Research Areas

Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning Analyzed AI/ML applications in operational contexts — MRO optimization, predictive maintenance, workforce augmentation, backend process automation, and customer support. Advised on practical implementation approaches and change management considerations.

IoT & Connected Operations Researched how industrial IoT enables real-time operational visibility, predictive asset management, and supply chain optimization. Built understanding of sensor infrastructure, data platforms, and integration patterns for industrial environments.

AR/VR & Immersive Technology Designed and delivered multiple AR/VR-enabled innovation showcases at the Greenhouse, helping executives experience technology applications firsthand rather than through slide decks. Qualified and managed startup partnerships in this space.

Robotics & Automation Explored workforce implications of robotics deployment — from collaborative robots (cobots) in manufacturing to autonomous inspection systems in energy. Developed frameworks for assessing workforce augmentation vs. displacement scenarios.

Impact

This research underpinned 18+ innovation showcases and shaped how Deloitte's Houston Greenhouse advised clients on technology strategy and digital transformation roadmaps.
