Bio

Patrick Saul

I've always been drawn to understanding how things work — and more importantly, how they could work better. That instinct led me into technology consulting early, where I spent years helping large organizations navigate the gap between what technology could do and what their teams were actually doing with it.

In January 2026, I co-founded Conversint Consulting as Co-Founder & Principal Consultant. The focus is AI for SMB owner-operators — the business owners who know their operations inside out but haven't had access to the same strategic guidance the Fortune 500 gets. That gap is where I work.

Alongside Conversint Consulting, I'm a Solutions Consultant at Lucid Software, helping Fortune 500 clients think more clearly and collaborate more effectively through visual work management. Before that, I spent over three years at Deloitte — finishing as an Innovation & Experience Manager running the Houston Greenhouse, Deloitte's flagship innovation center in the South, where I led client engagements that drove $18MM+ in innovation-related sales.

My background is in business strategy and information systems from Texas A&M, but the thread running through everything I do is the same: find the real problem, build something practical, and make sure it actually gets used.

What drives me

I believe technology should be an accelerant for operators, not a distraction. Too many businesses get sold complexity when they need clarity — tools that require a consultant to maintain, dashboards nobody looks at, and workflows that create more overhead than they remove. That's the problem I'm most interested in solving.

There's a meaningful gap between what enterprise teams have access to and what a small business owner actually sees. The same AI tools reshaping Fortune 500 operations are largely untapped at the SMB level — not because they don't apply, but because there's no one translating them into something actionable. That translation is the work.

The best strategy is always grounded in real operational context. I'm not interested in frameworks for their own sake. I'm interested in what's actually happening on the ground, what the constraints are, and what a sustainable improvement looks like in that specific business. That's the only kind of advice worth giving.

Outside work

Based in Houston, TX. Outside of work I chase endurance goals — running keeps me honest. I follow tech trends compulsively and read widely across economics, philosophy, and religion. Volunteering at our local church and time with family are the reset that makes everything else possible.
