Context
A Fortune 100 Oil & Gas operator was struggling with fragmented operational data spread across 10+ distinct systems serving different functional groups. Executives lacked a unified view of operational risks, leading to slow, reactive decision-making.
My Role
As team lead, I served as the primary driver for the agile development of an executive-level dashboard that converted disparate data across 10+ data sources into actionable operational insights.
I designed and led a series of strategic planning workshops to define pain points, prioritize key initiatives, and establish a governance structure for a cohesive data strategy encompassing 10+ distinct data systems across 10+ functional groups and 130 impacted employees.
Working closely with operations leadership and data engineering teams, I facilitated the alignment of requirements across business units, defined the data taxonomy and KPI framework, and managed iterative delivery of dashboard capabilities that surfaced the insights executives needed to act decisively.
The result was a unified executive operations dashboard providing real-time visibility into risk indicators — enabling the leadership team to shift from reactive to proactive decision-making.
