Context
The Deloitte Greenhouse is a network of innovation centers with 40+ locations internationally, leveraging human-centered design principles to create & facilitate executive strategy workshops for Fortune 100 clients. The Houston "Next Generation" Greenhouse is our largest Greenhouse to date, with a unique focus on tech-driven innovation. I was recruited as a founding member given my expertise in tech strategy and passion for innovation and design thinking.
My Role
As an Innovation Manager, I was responsible for leading the end-to-end discovery,
development, and implementation of innovation solution showcases, as well as
delivering compelling client experiences leveraging these solutions. To accomplish
these goals, I worked with firm leadership to establish a resourcing pool of 20+
innovation-minded practitioners and drove a scaled agile process for identifying
business objectives, defining & prioritizing MVP concepts, and developing showcases to
meet those objectives.
To deliver on our identified objectives, I leveraged my network across Deloitte's
innovation ecosystem to understand common challenges our clients faced across
industries, identified novel solutions, and managed a team of designers, researchers,
analysts and developers to implement and iterate on solution showcases. These solution
showcases were delivered in a gallery-like format, using state-of-the-art interactive
technology (AR/VR, 360 degree projection, touch displays, robotics, etc.) to create
visually appealing and compelling experiences, promoting maximum client engagement.
As our innovation showcase inventory grew from 0 to 18+ products, I became the de
facto expert for delivering compelling innovation-centric experiences to our clients.
Across 10+ strategy workshops, I led 100+ client executives through hands-on exercises
and facilitated discussions to identify specific challenges and opportunities they
faced, and determine how technological innovations could be applied to drive
competitive advantage in their unique industry and organizational context.
